Within the past few months, Massachusetts has experienced a dry period to which the Commonwealth has declared a significant drought throughout the state. The Lynnfield Water District receives it’s water from the MWRA. The MWRA’s water communities have been able to successfully reduce their consumption by 30% over the past forty years, meaning our water sources are currently at normal capacity for this time of year despite the issued drought.
